Celebrating Our Growth and Achievements

The Promise of Diversity in STEM
U.S. Science and Engineering Degree Recipients by Degree Level and Race/Ethnicity
We are making progress toward a more inclusive STEM community. The National Science Foundation data shows that more women and people of color are working in STEM jobs now than 10 years ago. These changes give us hope for a future where everyone is included, and every student can succeed in STEM. As we look at the current STEM workforce, we know there is still more work to be done.
The graph above underscores the opportunity before us — to close these gaps and build a STEM community that reflects the diversity of our world.
