42,000 Students, New Milestones, and You: MESA’s Year in Review

As the new year begins and we prepare to celebrate 55 years of transforming lives through STEM education, we want to take a moment to reflect on the impact we had this past year. With over 42,000 students served across 10 states, MESA continues to grow and empower all students with access to STEM fields. Here are just a few of the moments that made 2024 unforgettable.

Eastern Washington University Opens MESA Student Center

Eastern Washington University opened the doors to its brand-new MESA Student Center. EWU President Shari McMahan described the center as “a launchpad of opportunity,” providing first-generation and underserved students with the tools to succeed.

The center marks Washington MESA’s second 4-year university program, further extending STEM opportunity pathways throughout Washington.
